Batt, Blown-In, & Spray Foam Insulation Rates

Budget-Friendly Insulation Rates

Our Rates For Batts & Blown-In Cellulose

Batt insulation can be used in interior walls for sound attenuation. Batt insulation is also installed in exterior walls and ceilings.

Blown-in cellulose is specifically used in attic applications. Our blown-in rates include air-sealing of the attic floor to boost blown-in performance.

Why Pay For An Air-Seal?

Not every insulation contractor installs an airtight seal when doing blown-in for an attic. So why do we include the cost of air-sealing in our blown-in cellulose rates?

Should I Air-Seal My Attic?

Air-Sealing Boosts Blown-In Performance.

Without an airtight seal, blown-in can only slow conductive heat transfer. Air-sealing slows convection and radiant heat transfer, too.

What Makes Batt & Blown-In Budget Friendly?

Both batt and blown-in insulation are economic options for homeowners on a tighter budget. When it comes to affordable upfront cost, batt and blown-in insulation cannot be beat.

While affordable, neither batt nor blown-in offers a comparable performance to a premium insulation like spray foam.

At South Central Services, we seek to maximize the performance of every insulation. When we install batt and blown-in, we prefer to pair them with separate air-sealing products.

Our Rates For Spray Foam

There are two type of spray foam insulation: open cell spray foam and closed cell spray foam. Open cell spray foam is used in above-grade applications like exterior walls and attics. Closed cell spray foam can be used in exterior walls, attic, basements, and crawl spaces.

Our spray foam rates are per board foot. If you want to calculate a more accurate estimate before reaching out to a professional, you need to use the cost per board foot.

What Is A Board Foot?

A board foot is a three-dimensional measurement of a square foot. To find board feet, multiply your square footage by the depth of insulation you need.
