Getting On The Phone With South Central Services

Your experience with South Central Services begins with a phone call or a website form submission. The procedure to start your project varies depending on whether you call us or whether you reach out through the website and wait for our call.

What Happens When You Call South Central Services

After perusing our website, you call us directly and ask for more information. You may be interested in a quote, an estimate of how soon your project can be completed, or learning more about the insulation options available for your building. During your call, we will gather the necessary information to move forward with your project.

If you call us to start the process, we do not schedule site visits during the first phone call. Our team needs time to review your project information before taking that next step. You can expect the next phone call within 1 to 2 business days.

What Happens When South Central Services Calls You

You fill out the form to let us know about your project and its details. After you’ve submitted the form, we call you to verify critical information about your project. During this planned phone call, we also take the next step, which is scheduling a site visit that works for your timetable.

What Questions We Ask At South Central Services

No matter how you get on the phone with us, there are several important questions that you should know the answers to.

If you're planning on initiating your project with a phone call, review these questions to best prepare for your call. You can also ask about pricing, scheduling, and insulation information during the call, but your time will be most profitable if you know the answers to these questions.

If you notify us of your interest through the website, you may answer these questions in writing. No matter how much detail you provide, we still call to schedule your site visit. If you do not share many details about your project when you contact us, be prepared to answer these questions when we call you.

1. What Application Are You Looking For?

Are you remodeling a home or building a brand-new one? Will we be looking at your crawl space or your attic? What type of commercial building are you constructing?

The type of application clarifies many details, including which products are available, what building codes are relevant, and what we'll need to evaluate during the site visit.

2. What Product Are You Looking For?

South Central Services offers open cell spray foam, closed cell spray foam, and blown-in cellulose insulation. You can choose between several insulation options for many application types, such as attics.

You may not know which product you prefer or which insulation is available for your project. It is okay if you can't decide which insulation you'd like before your first call. We are happy to review the information during your site visit to narrow your selection.

Before your phone call, you may want to view our product resources to help you decide which product you're most interested in.

3. Roughly, What Are The Dimensions Of Your Project Space?

Knowing your project's size helps us prepare appropriate information to share with you during your site visit. For example, a crawl space smaller than 400 square feet would have different details and timelines than a project over 1,000 square feet.

What If I Can’t Estimate My Project Space?

While we prefer to have a rough estimate of the dimensions of the space we would be insulating, we can gather this information during the free site visit. If you are a homeowner with no way or method of measuring dimensions, we can still complete the site visit and create your free quote.

4. How Soon Will The Job Site Be Ready For Us?

If you decide to move forward after receiving your site visit and quote, we will need to schedule your project. Knowing when you plan on insulating helps us determine when to put it on the schedule. For customers hoping to insulate as soon as possible, this information allows your schedule to be accommodated to the best of our ability. For customers with a longer timeline, this information gives greater flexibility in scheduling.

Are There Any Hidden Fees?

At South Central Services, there are no hidden fees or costs for your free site visit and free quote. Free means free.

If you live outside of our service area and decide to move forward with your quote, your quote may include travel fees due to the distance. We are headquartered in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. Our team works in areas of southern PA and in a few counties of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The Bottom Line About Your First Call With Us

Your first call with South Central Services is to prepare both you and our team as much as possible for your project. If you reach out first through the website, the call also serves to schedule your site visit.

By answering these questions ahead of time, your site visit can be more efficient. While you’ll have opportunities during your phone call to ask questions about your project, your site visit is the best time to ask and have questions answered.
